On November 12, 2022. Bastrop County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Luke Werner responded to a call where he interacted with a suspect who stabbed him in the neck multiple times. Due to the extent of his injuries, Luke underwent surgery and is now recovering. The funds raised will be transferred to the Werner family for their necessities.
